Department Overview

The mission of the Finance organization is to deliver financial stewardship for PG&E by providing decision leadership and strategic partnership focused on driving results through financial and operational insights, while creating a rewarding work environment for our team.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

A reasonable salary range is: $127,000

Position Summary

This position will bring in top MBA talent to lead complex projects and key initiatives and will have unique opportunities to influence and improve critical aspects of our business. The successful candidate will be placed in high impact, improvement areas, to drive sustainable change and gain perspective necessary for developing into a future leadership role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements effective business strategies in support of the company and department.
  • Collaborates with team or leaders to work on issues, projects, or activities.
  • Presents findings and makes recommendations to management or others within organization.
  • Develops and tracks metrics that provide data for process measurement, business operations or risk assessment and may present findings to leadership.
  • Leads complex projects which may be cross functional.
  • Leads and develops strategy
  • Identifies new opportunities for growth and development

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with anticipated graduation of Fall 2022, Winter 2022 or Spring 2023 period.
  • Job-related experience,up to 3 years.

Desired:

  • Leadership experience
  • Skilled in excel for financial analysis
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in managing budgets
  • Utility industry experience, job-related
