Position Summary
This position will report to the Supervisor of Contract Administration. The contract administrator oversees contract safety compliance specifications. Manages multiple contracts. Audits invoices and completes contract close out processes. Develops functional expertise across multiple lines of business to support contract pricing strategies and technical review. May participate in contract escalation and resolution processes. Manages contracts and ensures contract compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- BS degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- Two years of contract management and administration experience
Desired:
- Experience in contract administration
- Experience in vendor management
- Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- BS degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrates experience using databases
- Basic office management skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong oral communication skills
- Understanding of construction terminology
Responsibilities
- Completes assignments of moderate scope and complexity
- Transmit and track contract documents to suppliers and PG&E management
- Verify insurance, CSLB, Union Status and ISN status
- Receive and review contract invoices and coordinate authorization for payment; maintain project and vendor files
- Assist in the efforts to ensure the attainment of the company's supplier diversity goals
- Oversees records management and contract tracking systems
- Recommends methods, approaches and tactics to resolve problems and obtain solutions
- Works with other lines to business to problem solve, correlate payments, discuss accruals, actuals, forecasts and contracts.
- Checks to see if there are liens/stop notices on projects.
