Manages teams directly or indirectly who ensure the prompt and efficient execution of field orders related to emergency response, establishment of gas service, response to customer-generated field requests related to gas appliances, and Company equipment compliance and maintenance work for PG&E facilities. Oversees field services and locate and mark work in a defined geographic region. Provides safe gas services while maintaining compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements. Promotes safety leadership and a safety culture among all employees for themselves, customers, and the public
•Ensures that the work group safely and efficiently completes customer requests that are received.
•Manages emergency responses to service requests and equipment maintenance, ensuring employees respond in a timely manner and provide quality service.
•Ensures consistency and adherence to compliance requirements
•Anticipates, identifies, and mitigates potential customer issues before they escalate into a significant problem.
•Engages employees in process improvements and act on their feedback
•Recruit/select, communicate expectations, foster employee engagement, coach, develop, mentor, recognize and reward employees to drive performance and results. Manages a team of union-represented employees, typically 10 – 30 employees
•High School graduate or equivalent
•5 years of operational experience
•CA Class C License, or equivalent
•Experience leading union-represented employees
•Experience serving and meeting the needs of internal and/or external customers
•Experience in gas or electric service or construction
•Safety: Ability to create, promote and manage a safe work environment
•Budget/Expenses: Ability to develop and manage department. budgets, expenses, variances
•Communication: Ability to communicate and support company and organization policies, procedures, goals, objectives, vision, and values
•Operations Management: Ability to manage day-to-day operations, identify and implement operational changes and improvements in support of the business
•Relationship Management: Ability to develop working relationships with customers and business partners where operations, service,
support or other inter-dependencies exist

•Functional Expertise: Ability to foster a learning environment and to develop employees to ensure backfills and successors. Has an understanding of PG&E’s business to maximize results, limit risks and effectively lead group.
