Operations Support is dedicated to creating cross-commodity consistency and standards in Operations. The team provides support services guided by best practices and a relentless pursuit for improvement. It has single points of accountability for Work Management & Resource Planning, Execution Support, Business Operations & Process Improvement, and Enterprise Public Works. Operations Support is comprised of approximately 1,000 coworkers.
Position Summary
The Performance Measurement & Reporting team supports PG&E Executives by providing line of sight to performance against the business' most critical KPIs, managing annual compliance reports to the CPUC, and providing Project Management support for high-impact reporting initiatives. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our team and manage our compliance reporting program, as well as ad-hoc high-visibility reporting and process improvement initiatives across the Operations Support, Data Analytics & Technology team. Responsibilities will include some or most of the following in support of Program Management to ensure attainment of program objectives:
- Manage Enterprise-wide, cross-functional relationships with compliance reporting stakeholders including data SMEs, Regulatory Liaisons, Program Managers, Rate Case Witnesses and Executive sponsors.
- Work with Regulatory Leads to develop project milestone schedules, ensuring expectations are clear for compliance reporting project stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate project timelines, roles and responsibilities and expectations while holding stakeholders accountable to progress against the plan.
- Partner with Regulatory and Compliance staff to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and support regulatory activities by supplying information for filings, data requests, and meetings with regulators.
- Deliver regularly cadenced progress status reports leveraging appropriate communication media.
- Escalate hurdles quickly to ensure project team members can stay on track with tight regulatory timelines.
- Leverage rate-case filings to perform high-level quality control on data and narratives provided from stakeholders.
- Provide detailed reconciliation of data tables and narratives to ensure reports are delivered in a single “voice”.
- Indirectly manage several compliance reporting project managers, removing roadblocks and discerning when escalation is required to keep projects on track.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and assigned location based on business needs.
The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory and will be agreed upon by the successful candidate and hiring leader.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is:
Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 122,000.00
Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 194,000.00
OR
Minimum Base Salary (California) $ 116,000.00
Maximum Base Salary (California) $ 184,000.00

- Develops new or revises existing scopes of work to ensure compliance standards and deliverables are established
- Supports the metrics and reporting teams to ensure alignment on cross-over metrics
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business.
- 8 years of related experience or equivalent
Desired:
- Master’s degree preferred.
- PMP Certification.
