Position Summary

 The Manager of Mega Bundle Analytics and Governance will lead a team responsible for managing Mega Bundle Circuit Project scope analytics and Project Management and Controls Governance for Electric Operations Portfolio Delivery. The Mega Bundle Circuit Project scope is inclusive of, but not limited to, pole replacement, capital expense, expense maintenance work, and the Manager will lead a team of analysts to support the development of analytics and processes required to execute the bundled scopes of work.  The Manager will also be responsible for the Project Management Governance for EO Portfolio Delivery team, leading a team of project management and controls professionals to establish standard work and best practices, compliance and oversight, change management, and training and development for the greater team.

The leader must be forward thinking, able to manage change effectively given the task of unifying multiple functional areas toward a standard of work, able to collaborate and communicate effectively with numerous stakeholders across PG&E to drive progress and continue the development of waste elimination and process improvement initiatives. The Manager will be required to regularly present status updates, provide recommendations and reporting to directors and high-level leaders.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

A reasonable salary range is:

California Minimum: $155,000

California Maximum: $265,000

Job Responsibilities

•Continuously strives to move the department toward a more mature project management model to improve effectiveness.

•Leads a team of primarily Project Managers and Project Control Analysts in the successful execution of electric maintenance, construction, capacity & reliability capital projects, . including of Mega Bundle Circuit Project scope. Manages cost, safety, quality, schedule, scope & client/customer satisfaction.

•Works with team to establish Project Governance oversight, processes and procedures, and ensures appropriate training and change management.

•Manages staff to accomplish results through effective recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management and coaching, and rewards and recognition.

•May manage both union and non-union employees.

•Regularly presents to leaders & stakeholders on project scope, schedule, cost and risk management information. Develops and delivers recommendations to improve processes, schedules and/or cost performance of projects.

•Seeks process improvement opportunities to reduce duplication of effort, improve work quality.

•Works with peers and leaders across Electric Operations to promote teamwork, streamline processes and improve efficiency. Effectively manages both the capital project portfolio for assigned functional area and develops and implements industry-leading project control policies, practices and procedures to ensure high-level quality and transparency in communications.

Leads development of tools and processes to continuously improve management and financial performance.

Qualifications

Minimum:

•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training

•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute

•10+ years of total related experience in project management experience with a minimum of 5+ years project management of electric utility projects

•4+ years supervisory experience in a technical field

Desired:

•Masters Degree in Engineering or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
