Department Overview
Electric Operations ensures the delivery of clean, safe, reliable and affordable energy to nearly 16 million people in Northern and Central California. The Electric Operations Team is responsible for ensuring the electric grid's reliability and resiliency through the ongoing maintenance and operations of PG&E's 100,000 miles of distribution lines and over 18,000 miles of Transmission lines. Coworkers in Electric Operations actively engage in the Lean Methodology through the use of visual management in operating reviews to cross-functionally identify and solve problems, and create standard work. Position Summary
Support backlog order cleanup and maintain reports to meet department and/or line of business needs. Identify and implement process and system improvements, manage communications, coordinate and deliver trainings for essential business procedures/processes, and drive development of new resources and tools.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location is flexible within the PG&E Service Territory.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum:$78,000
Bay Area Maximum:$116,000
OR
California Minimum:$74,000
California Maximum:$110,000
Job Responsibilities
- Use system and personnel resources to successfully address inquiries from internal business partners
- Assist Management with the leadership of key department initiatives such as system development, training and focused campaigns/initiatives
- Support organization as a subject matter expert by providing information and direction to resources through various delivery channels
- Research and data analysis; compile and prepare reports for upper management
- Maintain performance dashboards and troubleshoot data discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting
- Participate on cross functional teams
- Manage communications
- Liaison between various departments and cross functional teams
- Influence decisions, providing recommendations for change that will lead to the success of company goals and cost effectiveness
- Develop internal work procedures and initiate process improvements
- Develop and manage trainings to enhance knowledge and job skills
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
- Job-related experience, 3 years
Desired:
- Full understanding of MS Office
- Proficient skills in Power BI and SQL
