Position Summary

The Talent, Culture, and People organization is seeking a Program Manager at the Chief level to lead the design, development, and deployment of an Executive Development leadership program. This position plays a critical role in shaping leadership development initiatives targeted for senior leaders at PG&E.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the Sr. Director, Coworker Growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design, deployment, and tracking of the Executive Development program
  • Develop the program roadmap, including cohort design and program deployment strategies
  • Guide and manage partnerships with external academic institutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company’s Purpose, Virtues, and Stands
  • Drive creative and innovative approaches to executive development experiences
  • Oversee program operations and ensure alignment with organizational strategy
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage project timeline, budgets, and quality assurance
  • Analyze program effectiveness and implement continuous improvements based on feedback and business needs
  • Present program progress and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Ensure the executive development offerings align with broader talent and leadership strategies
  • Manage vendor relationship for external program support

Compensation

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle of the range ($215,000), the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $159,000

Bay Area Maximum: $271,000

Background Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 12 years of related experience or equivalent

Desired

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience working with top-tier universities or executive education organizations
  • Prior experience of developing executive leadership programs from the ground up
