Position Summary
We are looking for a frontline manager who can work as an individual contributor and as a manager who is willing to coach and performance manage individuals. This person needs to be very comfortable charting a path through ambiguity. They also need to be experienced in writing intermediate to advanced SQL and coaching team members to do so.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $126,000
Bay Area Maximum: $200,000
&/OR
California Minimum: $120,000
California Maximum: $190,000
This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
This position is hybrid. You will work from your remote office and your assigned location based on business needs. The headquarters location is flexible within the PG&E service territory.

- Technical Leadership
- Set and execute on a multi-year vision for the reporting team.
- In collaboration with tech and people leaders in Vegetation Management, design and implement database that allow for automated reporting and triaging.
- Move team towards more automated, more predictive analytics for work bundling, while meeting today’s regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ability to ensure teams work meets regulatory requirements for reporting.
- Develop and foster stakeholder relationships.
- Culture
- Collaborate with tech and people leaders in Vegetation Management around how reporting fits into Master Database Management: plan/timeline/cost/effort.
- Chart path through ambiguity with bias towards action.
- Highly organized in running day to day operations of a team as a frontline people leader.
- Clear and concise communication skills within the team and to senior leadership to push forward on organization goals.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- Job-related experience, 5 years

- Very comfortable writing intermediate and advanced SQL and Python
