Department Overview

Coworkers of Electric Operations ensure the delivery of safe and reliable electric service to our customers. Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration and emergency response.

Position Summary

Manages ESC employees involved in ensuring scheduling adherence. Ensuring the schedule is following the plan using the guidance of planners.  Follows up on all critical work to set our construction team for success. Adheres to the work plan. Assists with our internal partners on escalated jobs.

PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. 

The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. 

Pay Range: 

  • Minimum:  $132,00
  • Midpoint:  $179,00
  • Maximum:  $226,00

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate scheduling meetings for all three divisions. Ensure scheduling aligns to monthly, quarterly, and yearly program targets. Ensure attainments are entered timely and accurately. Scheduling process/procedural development. Partner with Planning to adjust allocations to align to business needs. Review job readiness to ensure dependencies are cleared for construction.
  • Partners with LEAP’s to clear roadblocks when they occur. Analyze scheduling data, trends, and performance metrics to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross functional teams and programs to align scheduling priorities with business objectives. Implement and optimize scheduling tools, systems, and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Provide leadership, coaching and development to scheduling team members to enhance performance and accountability.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPI) related to scheduling efficiency, productivity, and service delivery. Lead process improvement initiatives and standardization efforts across scheduling functions. Prepare and present reports and insights to leadership on scheduling performance and operational impacts. Participate in Daily, Weekly and Monthly operating reviews.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High School or GED- Diploma
  • Five (5) Years of experience in a job-related or technical environment
  • CA Class C License, or equivalent

Desired:

  • Cluster-Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Associates Degree in Engineering or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Utility industry experience, electric
  • Experience as Lineman, journey-level
