Department Overview
PG&E’s Underground Program organization is working to reduce wildfire risk each day as we underground 10,000 miles of distribution lines. We are responsible for working across all internal teams and engaging external stakeholders to support successfully meeting our goals and reducing wildfire risk.
Position Summary
Conducts research, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting in support of business decision making, strategy and operations. Participates in business process improvement, quality control and other initiatives. Develops, manages and coordinates performance and quality assessment, business process re-engineering, change management, communication and training.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
Although, we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is:
1. Minimum: $128,000
2. Midpoint: $173,000
3. Maximum: $218,000
Job Responsibilities
- Develops highly complex data systems that have wide ranging impact and application across multiple departments. Manages major cross-functional projects and initiatives. May provide direction and coaching to other Business Analysts. Performs analysis on the most complex data models that have cross- functional impact.
- Solves unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions. Presents findings and recommendations to senior leaders to gain agreement. Works with senior management to support strategic planning and decision making.
Qualifications
Minimum:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent.
Desired:
• Graduate Degree or equivalent experience.
