Department Overview
Information Systems Technology Services is a unified organization comprised of various departments which collaborate effectively in order to deliver high quality technology solutions.
Position Summary
Do you have a passion for data-driven projects? Does the thrill of finding and fixing the smallest of error wake you up more than the strongest black coffee? Have you been looking for the right position that combines the perfect mix of data and project management? Well, then you have found the right position.
PG&E’s Enterprise Data Management (EDM) department is looking for the right project and program manager to join our team in an exciting new opportunity. The EDM team’s purpose is “Trusted data shall empower everyone to deliver our on purpose and stands”, which governs everything we do. We are looking for the ideal candidate to help us lead large data improvement and software implementation projects. Your day to day may never look the same, but when you’ll be making a significant impact on the most strategic projects PG&E has undertaken. You’ll get an in-depth view on how PG&E operates and help set the basis for how PG&E uses data for all major functional areas.
This is not your standard project and program manager position. You won’t be in a typical PMO where you balance the needs of the day, minimizing the impact to the project’s scope, schedule, and budget. This role will provide you the visibility and interaction with IT and the business, data, and fundamental processes throughout the company. Help us move the needle on making data into the most trusted asset PG&E has.
