PG&E Workplace Rights & Policies

Your Rights. Our Commitment.

At Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), we honor every individual’s right to a workplace that is safe, inclusive, and free from discrimination. This page outlines key policies and rights as part of our responsibility to job candidates, employees, and contractors.

Equal Employment Opportunity Policy

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and maintaining a workplace free from harassment and discrimination. All employees, vendors, partners, and contractors are expected to comply with our EEO Policy and relevant federal laws.

Employment decisions are based solely on valid, business-related criteria. Every employee has equal access to jobs, training, and promotions – regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, religion, disability, medical condition, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other non–job related factor.

Harassment or discrimination of any kind goes against our core values and violates our EEO Policy. We foster a culture that respects and celebrates workforce diversity, helping us build a workplace where everyone belongs – and drive toward our vision of being the leading utility in the United States.
